Assessment and Treatment for Comorbid Conditions and

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

With worldwide prevalence being so high, the challenge that the psychiatric medical community faces is to properly diagnose and treat these children so as to assist them in maintaining the highest level of functioning. However, the existence of comorbid conditions which may contribute to the ADHD child's level of functioning must be addressed in order to maximize treatment interventions and positive outcomes.

Thus, this article will address the following major areas of treatment:
