International
Pediatrics is a peer-reviewed medical journal that
has been published quarterly without
interruption since 1986. Although the journal is published by Miami
Childrens Hospital, more than half of its articles are written by authors from
other institutions in the United States and around the world.
The journals clinical appeal stems from its
focus on content that presents case-specific analyses of therapy, diagnosis
or other patient management issues and review articles on current pediatric topics.
In April 1998, International Pediatrics
initiated the publication of abstracts on the Internet. The full text
of articles published since 1999 are available
online and can be downloaded and printed in PDF format. The
Web site is viewed by readers in more than 60 countries, helping to
achieve the journals mission of being a truly international forum for pediatric
practitioners.
The high quality of the journal's scientific content
and the originality of its articles fill a void for clinicians who seek
practical approaches to current pediatric conditions. The current focus, content and quality of International
Pediatrics provides a valuable resource for practitioners
throughout the world.
